Even so, if it takes you 1 hr to arrive at the arrivals lounge, from the gate (after going through customs and immigration), then you would have at least 45-50 minutes of time you can spend at the arrival lounge, assuming that you have a boarding pass for the ongoing BD flight (we entered the arrivals lounge at about 10:35 AM). I was told that the regular lines through immigration are much longer in the earlier morning hours, and in the later morning/early afternoon hours. We arrived at 10:10 AM - at that time, the lineups in the regular lines did not really take any more time than in the fast track lanes. However, since we're travelling in Y I'd imagine we won't have access to the elusive Pink Cards. Both legs in Y, but travelling with an E (thanks, Dad.) so will be able to use arrivals lounge if time permits. Will be flying AC YUL-LHR on an award e-ticket, and then BD LHR-GLA on a purchased paper ticket. ![]()
